TRW Automotive is the world leader in automotive safety, developing and producing the industry’s widest variety of active and passive systems.
It has recently announced the plan to open in Czestochowa
EUROPEAN FINANCE SHARED SERVICES CENTRE.
The scope of the shared services center is to support all of TRW’s businesses across Europe.
By the end of 2010 it is expected to employ about 150 people.
Currently we are looking for candidates for the following positions:
ACCOUNTANT - GENERAL LEDGER
Responsibilities:
-Prepare month end journal entries, reconcile intercompany accounts, adjust accruals, review accounts for accuracy, transmit into reporting system, and complete reports for headquarters.
-Prepare Year-End Package. Respond special project requests from Corporate, Tax Department, SSC Management and Operating Units.
-Book Cash & Banking entries. Review Netting Payments. Prepare local tax data. Prepare check requests. Prepare recurring entries.
-Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Key Skills/ Personal Characteristics:
-A three year college or university degree from an accredited institution with a major in Accounting or Finance is required.
-One to three years experience on the similar position.
-Strong analytical, investigative, problem solving and computer skills are required - must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
-Knowledge of TRW accounting policies and practices and knowledge of SAP and/or QAD Financial Systems desired.
-Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and IFRS.
-Should be able to prioritize and deliver results in a timely manner. Attention to detail.
-Must be self motivated, organized and have the ability to communicate with various levels of TRW personnel (internal customers) and external customers in a confident and professional manner.
-Dedication to teamwork, outstanding customer service, and continuous improvement is essential.
-The applicant must be proficient in Polish and English (written and verbal) and would ideally also be able to communicate in at least one of the following languages: German, Italian, Spanish, Czech or French.
